Falk House
The Clients of this Berkeley hilltop home requested a new state of the art Kitchen to match their talent for cooking. The program included an adjacent Office/Library addition. Custom sycamore cabinets were matched with softly colored stone and cork floors creating an airy feel. Lighting designer, York Kennedy, enhanced the character with elegant and playful fixtures. The bookshelves in the library wrap around and transition into warm cherry cabinets on the Dining Room side. These cabinets have glass backlit display boxes showcasing a portion of the couple’s art collection.
Sunnybrook Drive
The interior of this once fragmented little house was completely gutted and remodeled with the intent of creating a seamless and elegant transition through the rooms. Custom wood cabinetry was used to turn corners and provide as much hidden storage as possible.
