A team of consultants is invited in early to Client discussions in order to evaluate the building as a whole. This team approach provides valuable insight to project costs and scope.

Services include the following:

• Site evaluation: The firm’s sustainable designs consider sun orientation, wind conditions, water sources and topography.
• Client evaluation: How does the Client respond to the environment?  What are his/her daily patterns?
• Existing Conditions: How is the home insulated and sealed? A blower door test will identify air leakage. Are the windows performing well? What type of lighting is being used? Is it efficient?
• Selection of new building materials and advanced framing methods.

The firm works closely with Clients to identify the most cost efficient and high performance ventilation, radiant heating and solar systems to be used.
